The market potential for putting modern LED lighting systems in existing new construction buildings, but in many ways, it’s a more challenging market to serve.

Historically, lighting sales were tied closely to new construction. Fixtures and ballasts were installed during construction and after that sales were primarily for replacement lamps and the occasional tenant turnover or refresh. LED lighting has changed that picture fundamentally, making the entire installed base a potential market for new lighting systems.

LED lighting technology has come to a point where the efficiency makes it hard to justify keeping your old fluorescent or incandescent bulbs in place. Our New linear LED Will series are simple plug and play and ballast compatible. You will simply need to remove your fluorescent bulb and plug in our LED Linear light.

LED replacement lamps are on average 30% more efficient than their fluorescent counterparts. One of the big reasons why an LED Will series is more efficient is because it only emits light in one direction, downwards indifference to fluorescent lamps. This directional feature is the reason why LED Linear lights have shown a lower lumen output than fluorescents because they only emit light in the desired direction.

LED Linear, Will series be now rated to last up to 50,000 hours, while the average life of a fluorescent tube lamp is only 30,000 hours. That is over twice as long.

The ability to dim this Linear light series increases their efficiency because you will only be using the wattage necessary for the light that you require. LED Linear series is more durable. They are built with a durable plastic housing that should even be able to withstand a drop from a low height.
